RichardArt.ca - for more paintings

This blog is long neglected - as I have been painting rather than blogging.

Please see RICHARDART.CA for more information, but there are some paintings hanging out here as well. You can always contact me at RichardrBeaty@gmail.com, or 416-571-6409

Thank-you!

Where am I?

Hello, 2019 has been a busy time for me and for Stratford Art in the Park. My studio renovation is complete for the moment and the work has been proceeding nicely. Art in the Park is a continuing show in Stratford Ontario. We are 58 members strong and exhibit our work Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 to 5, until the end of September (weather permitting).

Here are some pictures of the first work to be completed since the renovation.

Hope to see you in the Park, Lakeside Drive, Stratford, Ontario.

Hi,

Ed played Bach's first suite for solo cello. I loved the long phrasing and natural intonation. It was a wonderful performance. Revel was full and very attentive. Hooray! I also got some very lovely comments on my paintings and met more of Maev's friends and old friends from Gallery Stratford.

Again, Hooray for a great morning.
Greetings All,

Here are three of the paintings currently hanging in Revel Cafe, Stratford, ON. The show, entitled 'Seeing Circles', will hang until 20 October. Revel will host Ed Meanwell Friday (today, now) at 11 am. Hope you can come to hear and see.

Well, we did see. The post cards are here and I like them far more than expected. The crops are good (painting is as much about the edges as it is about the content). Here they are (forgive the presentation).

Twin Suns

Just completed framing the newest painting for the park (Stratford Art in the Park). The tentative title is Twin Suns,  it is
18"x24" oil on canvas. Please forgive the bad lighting. Can be seen in the flesh at Art in the Park.
